Meet Yahya Khalil, a 6’3 16 year old with 10 foot tall ambitions. He’s an honour roll student-athlete who is a financial executive candidate for the Gleneagle student council. Kahlil has shown immense leadership within our organization, and has recently assembled a “Coquitlam branch” for the Pollinator Project. After migrating to British Columbia 10 years ago, Khalil has actively sought out volunteering opportunities, and hopes to build his own pollination garden. His team aims to popularize “the pollinator movement amongst Vancouverites” (Khalil), and has shown incredibly promising results thus far.
