Environmental activism is meaningless without having another generation to pass the torch to! In this project, you’ll run a workshop for daycare students to educate them on environmental issues.
Here’s How We’ll Help
We’re connected to a network of daycares, and we’d be happy to set up the workshop for you.
Here’s What You’ll Need to Do
You can begin planning as early as January 4th, 2021. Tell us what your preferred month is and what your topic is before February 17th. Your workshop can take place anytime between March 1st and June.
Step 1: Come up with a lesson plan
Find an environmental topic that you’re passionate about. It could be climate change, the importance of bees, or deforestation. Remember that you’ll be presenting to kids around 4-6 years old, so adjust your lesson content appropriately. We encourage you to add a hands on activity at the end!
Step 2: Let us know when you’d be ready to run the workshop, and we’ll connect you with the nearby daycare that’ll host your team
Please let us know what your topic is, and what month your team would prefer to do the workshop in. After you do this, we’ll put you in touch with the nearby daycare that’ll host your workshop.
Step 3: Run the workshop. Don’t forget to take photos of your team!
