“each flower we plant here today will not only contribute to the beauty of our city but also bring us all a step closer towards saving the bees.”

A huge shoutout goes to Jennifer Urbaniak and ParkSparks, a division of Coquitlam Parks and Recreation, for having us speak and plant with them today! Along with a good-natured team of volunteers, we were able to plant a variety of pollinator-friendly plants at Good Neighbour Park, a newly constructed public area that opened in 2018. After sharing a few motivating words with the volunteers about our journey and purpose, we sat down to break bread (or rather earl-grey honey infused ice cream) with our new friends. Rock on, Coquitlam!
